Ladybugs

Amongst the many items I must have this Fall, a dress from duo designers Doucette Duval tops the list. Their vintage inspired shapes and fabrics remind me of the dresses my grandmother made in the former Soviet Union. She was an incredibly talented seamstress who would spend hours crafting the latest styles (taken out of magazines smuggled in from the West) for my mother and two aunts. A refreshing change from the clothing that was available to them at the time.
