After graduating from Parsons School of Design (of Project Runway fame), James Coviello began his career as a jewelry designer for Erickson Beaman. Soon after that he created a line of hats sold at specialty department stores like Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman’s. it was at this point that he met another former Parsons alumna, Anna Sui. James and Anna began collaborating on a line of hats for Anna’s very first runway show and their partnership has remained strong to this very day. In fact James designs a line of knits called James Coviello for Anna Sui.
Add his own full line of ready to wear, and a specialty home line designed for Spiegel and you have the full range of James Coviello products. Talk about a triple threat! It’s hard not to be impressed by his resume but even without his magnificent credits, James has perfected his recipe for the perfect ready to wear line for today’s busy woman. A pinch of whimsy, a teaspoon of sex appeal and a whole barrelful of easy to wear pieces that are waiting to be layered in with the rest of your closet.
